In an effort to markedly reduce its carbon footprint, Ferrero U.S.A. has announced the roll-out of new packaging for the entire line of Tic Tac(R) mints. The brand is now available in polypropylene packaging, a flexible material that is more readily recyclable and leaves a considerably smaller carbon footprint. In addition, the new Tic Tac(R) boxes, which retain the distinctive transparent packaging and sound of the "Tic Tac(R) shake," will carry a statement encouraging consumers to "Please Recycle" and "Be Green."
