The AWMA has partnered with Dot Foods to sponsor:
 Foodservice Fundamentals:
An Educational & Inspirational Training Program

Developed Exclusively for AWMA

Join us for a fast-paced, energetic and spirited session from 8:00 am until 1:45 pm on Thursday, May 6.  Session participants will experience both a broad overview of foodservice in the convenience channel as well as gaining an understanding of specific resources available to them.  Some questions that will be answered include:

  • What is foodservice - especially as it relates to the convenience retailer?
  • Why is foodservice so important?
  • Does your distribution company need to better understand foodservice?
  • What does the "profitability of foodservice" look like to us?
  • What are example "best practices" of those companies doing foodservice right - effectively, efficiently and profitably?
  • What works? What doesn't work?
  • How can a distributor serve as a value added resource to its convenience retailers who are getting into foodservice or working to improve and enhance foodservice?
  • What are those compelling imperatives that a distributor needs to fully understand in order to be viewed as a resource and an asset to its retailers?
  • And more...
