American Wholesale Marketers Association New 2008 Chairman Dick Dunham of Stephenson Wholesale Company
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA — The American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA) proudly announces that the 2008 AWMA Chairman is Dick Dunham, Vice President of Operations, Stephenson Wholesale Company, Inc., in Durant, Oklahoma. “Dick Dunham brings invaluable experience from over thirty years in the convenience and supermarket distribution industry to our board of directors,” said AWMA President and CEO Scott Ramminger. “AWMA members know they can look to Dick for leadership on the complex issues which lay ahead.”
Mr. Dunham joined Stephenson Wholesale Company in 1995 and, prior to that, was employed by Safeway (Texas and California), Von’s (California) and Hale-Halsell (Oklahoma). An enthusiastic supporter of industry and employee associations, he currently serves on the executive board of the Oklahoma Wholesale Marketers Association and the Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors in addition to his AWMA Chairmanship.
Mr. Dunham is a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State and the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Donna, reside in Durant, Oklahoma with their four children.
Mr. Dunham will deliver the opening address at AWMA’s REAL DEAL EXPO, the Association’s annual convention, being held February 20-22, 2008 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. The REAL DEAL EXPO is one of the country’s oldest and largest shows for warehouse distributed snacks, candy, tobacco, grocery, foodservice, general merchandise, health and beauty care items, technology products and more.
